We've come to know that people from different races and occupations have different views on the number of children they have or want to have.
Most of the chinese people that we've interviewed prefer to have less than 3 childrens as most of them thinks that it would tough for them to maintain and support the family. For the ones that aren't married, they wouldn't have the time for their children as they're working.
As for the malays, they would rather have more than 3 childrens as they think of it as a positive way although most of them don't have the time for their childrens. Despite the fact that they have no time for their children, they think that they would have more joy and happiness.
As for the local Indians, they would rather have fewer children, as they find it hard to maintain the family as living cost in Singapore high. As for the foreign Indians, they would rather have more children, as they want their children to continue the family name.
